It cost us all a fortune, but we made so much money for the charities.I think the only way I could do next years trip with you guys would be to take unpaid leave.But you know I`m commited to the Hymalaya run and any money I make from that is going to McMillans.I think we`re so lucky to have such a tight group of guys to ride with, to raise funds against our chosen cause and the spin off is we have so much fun doing something so worthy. I salute and love each and every one of you.At the end of the day, most folks don`t get it, but we do.And lest we forget our Sunderland chapter who have been so supportive.I think the time is long over due that we should visit ZZZZZrrrr Lexus McDaid in Maccam land and make him honourary president of charitable raising in the North East.I sugest at some juncture during the impending advent festivities would be appropriate.Strength and honour, Maximus.

So thats a really condensed version of whats been going on this very rapid year and i think we have done extremely well on what us as a group have achieved so its hats off to the lot of ya and a massive thanks and a huge well done so on that note it sure is a hell of a great feeling to know that we have helped folks a lot less fortunate than us and that in itself is more satisfying than just about anything else we have ever done on a charitabal plain..

For now people im gonna stop as there are just too many people i wanna thank and if any of ya are up for next year give me a hauler as im working on it as we speak,, it will be a bit more low key especially as there is a global downturn at the mo but a couple of pounds can go a long way.. Anyroads it was a pleasure working/ riding(motorcycles that is) with the lot of ya and i hope we will do it again very soon..

Graham if you read this i hope everything works out for you fella as what has happened still makes me feel really sick and trust me there will be no more BMWs bought from a certain dealership ,, will call you later in the week bud..

Well as ya all probably know i was awake real early today and here i am still feckin here,, wooo hoooo Anyroads i shall get to the point of the day that has kinda pissed me off a tad..

Any of ya that have been following the news in the last twa days will have heard of the soldier that sadly lost his life over in afghanistan, again sadly one of a long line recently..

So,, its regarding the letter Gordon Brown sent to the mentioned soldiers mother obviously destressed and angry at the loss of her son.. What the fuk is going on here or im i missing the point on this,, or is it just the media hipe of shite that dictates to our hungry public these days that jump on the paparazzi bandwagon and go out and out to slate someone that in my eyes has tried to oblige and say sorry on a personal level to the mother of the soldier..

So what if there are a few spelling mistakes ,, so what if he said sorry in the letter 15 fucng times and never once was the word “appoligised” used as heard on all breakfast tv stations this morning making and sounding the man feel like a fecking retard cos he made some spelling mistakes,, well bugger me its detention and the belt fur you broon.. The toilet paper the mother sold the story to ” the sun “,, have just went to town on this and as usual totally over the top..

I personally feel sorry for Gordon Brown on this one as he was doing a DECENT thing here,, lets face it he never put the troops in there in the first place and as a soldier or any other member of the armed forces must know the dangers of their job before joining up as their families do also,, not that this makes it ok but how many of the other families have recieved a personal hand written letter from any PM?????

As i heard on the radio tonight, there was a conversation with a ww2 veteran talking regarding this matter and as he said ,,when soldiers of his day fell in the call of duty their loved ones would get their personal belongings back in a parcel and a telegram telling the berieved parents/loved ones of their fate and that was that..

So let that be a lesson Mr Brown,, whether it be good, decent or the right thing to do at the time your best keeping your thoughts clearly to yourself as sometimes in todays society SORRy is not enough..

Yesterday morning,, early i add ,,the council were delivering this years xmas tree on the back of an artic,, this i had to watch for a laugh.. There were 7 tubes from the council trying to put this thing up and trust me oot of the seven not wan O them looked like they cood errect ony hin never mind a 40 foot tree..

Quality checks at Triumph have identified a potential problem with a number of rear suspension drag links on a small number of Sprint ST 1050 and Sprint ST 1050 ABS motorcycles. The models affected are from the 2005 to 2010 model years from VIN number 221423 to 424192.

Affected motorcycles should be taken to an approved Triumph dealership for new parts to be fitted. The modification will be carried out free of charge and should take no longer than 30 minutes.

Triumph has written to all registered owners affected by this action advising them of the recall and urging them to contact their local Triumph dealership. Anyone who wishes to confirm whether their machine is affected is asked to contact their local dealer or go to www.triumph.co.uk./uk/7094.aspx

Well dudeees while on my split shift today i was watching a programme on 5 regarding property all aroon our wee island when the bird hosting it appeared in plockton trying to get this foreign couple to buy it.. Yes from the outside its the size of a hut but it has the 6 bedrooms you asked for,, the double garage for you antonio so you can make you arty farty shitty sculptures oot O recycled durex wrappers , 8 bathrooms and thats jist the first flare and no cottage would be complete withoot the Arga,, fuk off.. These new folks that wanna piece of this mystic life that thuv read aboot in their quarterly landrover or saab magazines informing them they can grow their own tatties and cabbages in a bucket with using only fertilizer fae their pet sheep called dolly and a pair o green wellies is a fable folks.. Yes,, and if you look over there the village pub caters fur all us local foreigners on the dark wintry nights where you can eat local classic dishes like lancashire hot pot or somerset pork washed down with a pint of tetleys bitter…,, ah home from from home..
